August 2016

Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!  The hall volunteers usually take a bit of a rest during this time, but this year we’ve kept going, and it has been a great experience!

We’ve had Home Alone & First Aid Training with record numbers of kids wanting to join so 2 new fall dates have been scheduled for the fall!  Be sure to check out our facebook feed to get updated registration information!

Aimee provided a **free**  Parent Car Seat Safety Class & Car Seat Check !  New and expecting parents, as well as grandparents, took advantage of this class!  Every car seat checked & everyone left more aware, safety conscience & armed with proper information with how to deal with their vehicles and infant car seats!  Aimee will be scheduling more classes and just car seat checks but if you want to contact her before we announce another date please call or text Aimee 780 886 4807

We had Ms. Alex from the Parkland County Library provide a **free** afternoon filled with games, learning, stories and fun activities!

PVCC’s kids Learn To Cook program have all been filled up and quite well received!  Check out our weekly Wednesday updates on our facebook feed!  We have another 4 classes in August and Finalè Dinner for the Parents in September!

What else will be happening in August you ask?
On Thursday, August 25th we will be opening our doors at 6:30pm for 7pm MOVIE NIGHT!

—Angry Birds—

All children 12 & under MUST be accompanied by an adult guardian. Hall capacity will be ensured : FCFS
